Tory y Moi

Here we are again. Thursday evening. The weekend is waiting to be explored once again. I'm listening to wonderful new-discovered music. Toro y Moi, which is highly recommendable, is hot hot hot! With its wobbly wobbly sounds, it caught my interest immediately! The album Underneath The Pine, which is the 2nd album, I think, has a really synth-pop kinda moody thing going on - it's sort of 80's pop, which makes it a rather nostalgic sound.

I wish, I lived in the 80's; just looking at hipstamatic photos makes me wanna go back in time - even though I didn't live in those days. I can only imagine. That I'll do, whilst  listening to Toro y Moi.

Happy weekend!

A Very Good Weekend

St. St. Blicher, a very cosy man!

Well ... this is the end of this weekend. It has been one the most fun and cosy weekends in a long time. So many things have been rumbling around in my head; school, work ... But this weekend was really a nice experience; without thinking about all the essays, waiting to be written in the nearest future. The concert with The National was really awesome - despite annoying people videotaping and pushing around - no, it was a nice time with my sister and brother :-)

... but now, let's get on with those damn essays! See ya

Let's Start off With a Concert

Yea, here we are. My brother claimed I needed a blog. Well... why not give it a try. I don't think, I will be able to write interesting stuff each time I update my blog, but what the heck ...

Tonight we're going to a concert with The National, which I think is going to be awesome. I like melancholic music and The National has really hit the nail on the head, when it comes to produce such melancholic moodness. Last year, when they published "High Violet", I was stoked. Songs like "Sorrow" and "Afraid of Everyone" give me goosebumbs all over. This is clearly and without a doubt one of last year's best albums.
